Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: 2026-07-29

HearingScout participates in affiliate marketing programs. This means that when you click certain links on this site and go on to make a purchase, we may earn a commission from the retailer or manufacturer. This is disclosed in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s guidelines on endorsements and testimonials.

What this means for you

Earning a commission never costs you anything extra — the price you pay is the same whether or not you came through an affiliate link. It also does not, by itself, change what we recommend: our matching logic weighs the same set of criteria (price, fit, trial length, owner feedback, professional assessment, and so on) for every brand and model in our database, whether or not we have an active affiliate relationship with them.

What we do disclose

Where a brand is commonly owned by the same parent company as another brand in our comparisons, we say so. Where a professional assessment and real owner satisfaction meaningfully disagree on a device, we surface that tension rather than picking a side. We do not accept payment in exchange for a specific ranking or recommendation.

Networks and programs

As of 2026-07-29, our confirmed affiliate partnership is Awin, approved for Vivtone (tracked commission links are still being set up). We are actively applying to additional affiliate programs and networks, but until an application is approved, links to those brands and retailers are plain links that earn us no commission. This section will be updated as new programs are confirmed.
