What HearingScout is

HearingScout is an independent, informational comparison tool for over-the-counter (OTC) hearing aids. We do not manufacture, sell, ship, fit, or service any hearing aid. We are not a healthcare provider.

Not a substitute for professional care

Nothing on this site is a hearing evaluation, diagnosis, or medical advice. Under FDA rules, OTC hearing aids are intended for adults who perceive themselves to have mild to moderate hearing loss. If you’re unsure whether that describes you, or if your hearing loss may be more severe, sudden, or connected to another medical issue, see a licensed hearing healthcare professional before purchasing anything.

Recommendations are informational, not a guarantee

Our matches are based on publicly available specifications, published reviews, and independent testing we’ve found and cited to the best of our ability. We do our best to keep this current, but prices, availability, and product details change without notice — always confirm current details on the retailer’s own site before purchasing.

Affiliate links

Some links on this site are affiliate links. See our affiliate disclosurefor details. Purchases you make through those links are between you and the retailer/manufacturer — we are not a party to that transaction and can’t process returns, warranty claims, or payments on your behalf.

No warranty

This site and its contents are provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Changes

We may update these terms as the tool evolves. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
